October 31: “Trick or Treat along East and West Broadway” from 4-6 p.m. Look for orange and black posters inviting the children to stop by for a treat.  If you are starting on West Broadway going toward East Broadway, walk on the odd-numbered (southern) side of the street. If you are starting on East Broadway heading to West Broadway, walk on the even-numbered (northern) side of the street. Hosted by the South Boston Chamber of Commerce and the South Boston NDC. 

November 2: 2nd Public Meeting on Proposed Zoning Amendment of Cannabis Establishments at 6pm. View  November and August meeting recording and presentation plus amended text. 

November 2: MassDOT Revised Bus Network Public Meeting at 6pm. Share your comments.

November 2: Nautilus Restaurant (300 Pier 4 Blvd) Abutters Meeting at 7pm via Zoom. Requesting to amend entertainment license to include live entertainment indoors only (4 instrumental/vocalist, tvs, and dj). November 3: Early voting and mail-in ballot drop off at the ICA from 12pm to 8pm plus free admission to the musuem after voting. 

November 3: Seaport Square Impact Advisory Group Public Meeting at 6pm. View Notice of Project Change for changes in uses, particularly residential to labs, along with the introduction of biosafety 3 labs intermingled with housing, a reduction in green park space important for climate resiliency to prevent or manage flooding and heat island impacts.

November 4: City Hall To Go Truck with City Council President & District 2 Councilor Ed Flynn at the Municipal Lot at 450 W Broadway, from 3:30 - 5 p.m. You can apply for resident parking permits or dog licenses, request birth, death, or marriage certificates, paying or appealing parking tickets, etc... without making the trip to City Hall. 

November 12*: Let's Beautify Fort Point. Come get your hands dirty planting daffodils from 10am -1pm. Meet up at Wormwood Park. Details and to sign up. *new date

City Hall Is Coming To South Boston

updated 10/2/17: The MBTA, MassDOT, National Parks, Eversource and the L St Power Plant will be joining Massport as special guests tonight. Whether you have questions/concerns about airplane noise, street conditions & parking, Northern Avenue Bridge, Track 61, developments, parks or public transportation, the South Boston Open House offers one stop shopping for the latest information.   

City Hall To Go invites you to the 2017 South Boston Open House hosted by Mayor Walsh with representatives from every City department including city programs and services, Massport and other special guests. The 2017 South Boston Open House will occur:

Have Coffee With The Mayor

The Mayor's South Boston Coffee Hour will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 9:30 am - 10:30 am at Sweeney Playground,180 West Fifth Street.

The Neighborhood Coffee Hours give residents a unique opportunity to speak directly with Mayor Walsh about open space and other needs in their neighborhoods.  Through these discussions and a suggestion box at each site, Mayor Walsh looks forward to hearing how the City of Boston can improve upon local parks, public areas, and city services.

“This series provides me with a great opportunity to get out and meet with residents one-on-one,” said Mayor Walsh.  “If you have an issue that we can help with, would like to know more about city services, or just want to come out and have some coffee and refreshments in your local park with your neighbors, we welcome you to our Neighborhood Coffee Hours.”

All participants will enjoy coffee and breakfast treats provided by Dunkin’ Donuts and fresh fruit from Whole Foods Market.  In addition, each family in attendance will receive a flowering plant grown in the city’s greenhouses as a gift from Mayor Walsh.  Residents at the event will also be eligible to win a raffle prizes from Dunkin’ Donuts.  Information will be available on City programs from the Boston Public Library, Boston Public Schools, Boston Police Department, and Boston Centers for Youth & Families. 

City Hall To Go is also scheduled to be there. City Hall To Go makes it easy to pay a parking ticket, renew or apply for residential parking permit, file for a copy of your marriage license, get a recycling sticker and more....

City Hall To Go Brings Chief Chat to Fort Point

The City Hall To Go truck is bringing City of Boston's Chief Information Officer Jascha Franklin-Hodge to Fort Point during lunch hour (12:30-2:30) on Friday, September 19, 2014 to answer your questions, be dazzled by your technical ingenuity and listen to your concerns. The truck will be located a 350 Congress St (near A and Congress). Be sure to stop by for a chat or to say hello.

Southie Family Fun Day & City Hall To Go

The MOMS Club of South Boston proudly presents Southie Family Fun Day, which will take place on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 11 am to 4 pm at Marine Park (Farragut Road) in South Boston.  From puppet shows to self defense to irish dance performances, there are fun games and activities for the entire family!  The MOMS Club of South Boston is passionate about making South Boston a community where children and families feel free to play, engage in their community, and connect with each other.
