Waiting for a Grocery Store, Fort Point?

If you are still wishing for the day a grocery store opens in Fort Point, you are not alone. The top amenity Fort Point residents want is a grocery store according to the Fort Point Neighborhood Associations's January 2014 survey. 

While Whole Foods is coming to Ink Block in SOWA and Roche Brothers is coming to Downtown Crossing, where is Trader Joe's? One Fort Point resident is asking neighbors to contact Trader Joe's and suggest our dynamic neighborhood as the perfect new store location. According to a Trader Joe's representative "While we don't have any immediate plans to open a Trader Joe's in your area, ...what you can do is fill out a "location request form" via our website - those help, too, as we tally them regularly.  The web address to this form is:
