This Weekend: Free Ferries + Art Opening

Celebrate this weekend with the start of the 2026 Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park public ferry season with a free trip to Georges Island, and an art opening reception of textile artist, Celeste Diaz Falzone, at the Distillery Gallery on Saturday, May 30th from 7pm to 10pm. 

Boston Harbor Now Free Ferry ⛴ Weekend

The free Georges Island trip includes a tour of historic Fort Warren and incredible harbor views from the island.

Tickets are first-come, first-serve on the mornings of May 30th and May 31st at the Ferry Center at Long Wharf North (66 Long Wharf, Boston, MA 02110 across from Christopher Columbus Park). Get there early for the 8am ticket distribution.  Up to 5 tickets per adult. 

Trips depart Long Wharf North at 10am and 12pm 

Art Opening

The Distillery Gallery is thrilled to present a solo exhibition by textile artist Celeste Diaz Falzone, opening Saturday, May 30th from 7pm to10pm. The gallery is located at 516 E. 2nd Street. 

The works are a maximalist and playful installation of recent soft sculptural work by the Rhode Island-based artist. The exhibition runs through July 11, 2026. 

Celeste Diaz Falzone (b. 1998 in Dallas TX to Colombian mother and American father) is an artist and writer based in Pawtucket RI. Her studio practice consists of 2 and 3D mixed media with a base in textiles and illustration. Celeste is self taught, and her work explores culture, spirituality, psychology, humanity, fashion, dreams, and memory.
