Boston's First Artists' Live/Work Cooperative Celebrates 30 Years

The 249 A Street Cooperative celebrates its 30th anniversary with an exhibition of works by current members of this still thriving artists’ building. The Gallery at 249 A Street presents The 30th Anniversary Show with Opening Reception on:

On view will be paintings, prints, sculpture, drawing, photography, mixed-media and ceramics by participating resident artists. For more details and a list of participating artists, please visit the Fort Point Arts CommunityThe show runs through October 24, 2014 and will be open during the 35th annual Fort Point Open Studios October 17th - 19th. 

The Cooperative was the first artist-owned, live/work, limited equity Co-op in Massachusetts, and continues to serve as a model for artists’ housing throughout the nation.
