This Week: Coffee With The Mayor, Transportation Impacts (Gillette) & Harbor Harmonies

Join in this week's activities and developments about the neighborhood.

6/16: Boston City Councilors-At-Large Candidates Virtual Forum at 6:15pm, hosted by local Democratic Ward Committees. Primary election is September 9th.

6/17: South Boston Coffee Hour with Mayor Wu from 10am to 11am at BCYF Curley Center (1663 Columbia Rd at East Broadway and North Street). (Location change)

  • It's an unique opportunity to speak directly with the Mayor and staff from City departments about City services and resident concerns. 
  • Dunkin’ is back to fuel the conversation with iced coffee and donuts. Dunkin’ will also provide lawn game activities for attendees, gift card giveaways, and the opportunity for residents to win a raffle prize. 
  • Free flowering plants will be provided by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, while supplies last. Fresh fruit will be provided by Star Market. 

6/17: Gillette Redevelopment IAG Public Meeting #4 at 6pm focusing on the transportation network and impacts at the 31 acre Fort Point Channel site.

6/18: Gillette Redevelopment Public Meeting #4 at 6pm: The meeting will include a topic-specific presentation focused on the transportation network and potential impacts at the 31 acre Fort Point Channel site.

6/19: The Midway Gallery invites you to the opening reception of Illustrated Words, a selection of handmade books and calligraphy by Nikolay Cherny, from 7pm to 9pm in the Art Tunnel at Midway Artist Studios, 15 Channel Center Street.


6/21:  Fort Point Arts Community (FPAC) presents 2025 Harbor Harmonies, a chamber music series, kicking off with "The Storms Within" at 7:30PM at Midway Artist Studios, 15 Channel Center, Studio 101.  Reserve your free ticket today
