Commonwealth Ventures is changing their plan for 5 Channel Center and, instead of tearing it down and doing luxury condos, is planning on building rental apartments and live/work spaces for artists.
There's few details on the project available at this point, but it's good to hear a developer both preserving historic buildings and doing moderately-priced residential in Fort Point.
