Social Wines Grand Opening event this Saturday

Grand Opening Celebration

A Day of Tastings

Join us throughout the day on Saturday, July 21st as we celebrate our new shop by offering a host of tastings. We've invited several of our suppliers to sample you on some of our favorite products.

Between 2:00 and 8:00 (yes that's PM) you can taste a variety of wines, spirits and beer. Products will change every couple hours, so what's being tasted at 4:00 will be different from what's being tasted at 2:00, and the same for what's being sampled at 6:00. You get the picture.

Here's just a taste (pun intended)!

* Fresh margaritas with Zapopan tequila
* Beautiful reds including a Cabernet, Malbec and Rioja
* Refreshing whites like Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Grigio and Riesling
* Local beers from Night Shift, Berkshire, Sam Adams and Mayflower
* Of course some Rosé
* Rum, Vodka and Gin from Ipswich, 44 North and GrandTen

So be sure and stop by, we look forward to seeing you!

Weekly Tastings

Our Thursday beer tasting this week will feature Berkshire Brewing, along with some gin from Berkshire Mountain Distillers and meads from Saphouse.

We're mixing it up on Friday and tasting a cocktail instead of wine (lots of wine on Saturday!) Check us out on Facebook or Twitter for frequent updates.

Craft Spirits Seminar

We're hosting a very special "seminar" on spirits this Thursday evening, July 12 at 6:00. Join our friend Harold Joyce from 44 Degrees North vodka as he leads a session about the American Craft Spirits movement.

Space is limited to the first 16 who register. Registration is $15 per person, which reserves your seat, and if you purchase a 44 North product the night of the event we'll discount it by $15.

Register now at http://socialwines.eventbrite.com/

Weekly Tastings

Our regular weekly tastings continue every Thursday (beer) and Friday (wine) from 5:30-8:00. We often select the products last minute so stop in and be surprised, or follow us on Facebook and/or Twitter for lots of information.

We have, however, scheduled Gwen from Berkshire Brewing Company the night of July 19. If you're a fan of Berkshire Brewing beer you won't want to miss this. Gwen will also sample other products from her distribution portfolio, which includes a selection of spirits from Berkshire Mountain Distillers and also a variety of Meads.

Look forward to seeing you soon!
