Celebrate Oshogatsu 2026, the Japanese New Year! Plan for an exciting day filled with lively programs including Taiko Drumming, the Shishimai Lion Dance, Omikuji Fortunes, Japanese Weaving Workshops, Mochi Rice-Pounding Ceremony, and a variety of other engaging activities.
Explore the Japanese House exhibit, an authentic Kyoto home from the 1800’s, located on the Museum's third floor and admire special New Year's decorations.
Join in and gather together to welcome the Year of the Horse!
