Proposed work: Reconstruction of Sleeper Street from Seaport Boulevard to Congress Street, of Congress Street between Sleeper Street and Boston Wharf Road and of A Street from Congress Street to Melcher Street.

315 On A Public Community Meeting

The Boston Planning and Development Authority (BPDA) will be holding a community meeting regarding a change to 315 on A, formerly know as 319 A rear, on:

The meeting will discuss the proposed First Amendment to the First Amended and Restated Development Plan for 319 A Street Rear within Planned Development Area No. 69, South Boston/The 100 Acres. The sole proposed change to the completed project under this Amendment is a change of approximately 1,000 square feet of ground-floor space, former home of the Fort Point Arts Community's Made In Fort Point store, to Office use.

(across from Faneuil Hall).

Subject of the hearing will be applications for Certificates of Design Approval on the agenda below, review of architectural violations and such business as may come before the commission, in accordance with Ch. 772 of the Acts of 1975, as amended. Applications are available for review during normal business hours at the office of the Environment Department. Applicants or their representatives are required to attend, unless indicated otherwise below. Sign-language interpreters are available upon request.

Applicant: Redgate Capital Partners (developer): Modify storefront expression at south elevation of previously approved six-story mixed use building to accommodate exposed art wall

Applicant: BRG 319A LLC (owner): Substantially rehabilitate 5-story warehouse building. Work to include replacement of original wood windows, removal of fire escapes, introduction of new window openings, construction of a roof deck and pergolas, installation of roof top mechanical equipment, head house expansion, etc.

II. Administrative Review / Approval: In order to expedite the review process, the commission has delegated the approval of certain work items, such as those involving ordinary maintenance and repair, restoration or replacement, or which otherwise have a minimal impact on a building’s appearance, to the staff pending ratification at its monthly public hearing. Having been identified as meeting these eligibility criteria and all relevant guidelines, the following applications will be approved at this hearing:
