Yes, Tuesday, May 1, 2018 is election day. What? It is the special election for our district's Massachusetts Senate seat. Polls will be open 7 am - 8 pm at:

Why vote? The community counts on our elected officials for their support of local issues and initiatives. Elected officials look at voter turnout by neighborhood. In particular, why do State Elections matter in Fort Point and the Seaport? The State (MCCA/BCEC, MBTA and Massport) is a property owner, developer and public transit provider in the neighborhood.
