Breakin at Channel Cafe

While crime as a whole is down 20%, this is a good reminder that Fort Point is an urban neighborhood. If you see anything suspicious, please call the BPD's Crimestopper hotline: 1-800-494-TIPS or text 'TIP' to 'CRIME' (27463).

Opening Tonight: Michael Eder

Great Grand Big Opening
Big Paintings by Michael Eder from 2000 to 2010
Thursday, March 24th 2011
5 - 7 PM
35 Channel Center Street
Fort Point, Boston

FPAC's art lending program with our neighbors at 35 Channel Center continues with an exhibition of abstract prints by Michael Eder.

"I paint from nature: complex, surprising and constantly changing. Monumental and intimate, it inspires me. When working, I constantly refer back to small paintings made outdoors in Maine. These panels are close-ups of vines, swaths of grass, and trees; trunks and canopies, edited to just a few elements. I paint these in layers of gesture: a fat, wet stroke of white, or dry meandering orange jumps."
